about
“But poetry, music, romance, love, that is what we stay alive for.”
The Inkantation Archive is an literary digital press dedicated to essays, criticism, and the occasional artefact of questionable academic necessity.
We focus on interdisciplinary writing shaped by history, literature, and the darker edges of academic culture. Our aim is simple, produce work that’s intellectually grounded, aesthetically intentional, and only slightly chaotic.
The Archive also serves as a hub for curated tools, resources, and objects for readers, writers, and other creatures who voluntarily annotate their books. Everything we publish or recommend is selected with an eye for quality, relevance, and that particular flavour of scholarly obsession that keeps you up at 2 a.m. reading footnotes.
This is a place for people who take ideas seriously, and those who want to grow intellectually.
If you’re looking for a polished literary society with the personality of a sarcastic black cat, congratulations. You’ve found it.
